At Central Bucks High School East, Nolan Behm is a name that commands respect on both the baseball diamond and the basketball court. A senior who has already committed to playing baseball at the University of Pittsburgh, Behm is proving himself to be an extraordinary dual-sport athlete.
Behm, a standout infielder, has made waves in the high school baseball world. Known for his powerful arm, pinpoint accuracy, and versatility in the field, he has been a cornerstone of the Patriots’ success. To go along with his defense, his ability to produce clutch hits has earned him recognition as one of the best high school baseball players in Pennsylvania.
“When Pitt offered me the chance to play at the next level, I knew it was the perfect fit,” said Behm. “The coaching staff, the program’s history, and the chance to compete in the ACC were too good to pass up.”
Pitt is not just gaining a player with exceptional talent but also a relentless work ethic. Coaches and teammates alike describe Behm as a natural leader who pushes himself and those around him to improve.
“Nolan’s work ethic is unmatched,” said Central Bucks East baseball teammate, AJ Molnar. “He’s a great player and an even better teammate.”
While baseball may be his ticket to college, Behm’s basketball skills are just as impressive. As a forward for the Patriots, he’s been one of the team’s most consistent performers this season. With his scoring ability from anywhere on the court and his defensive tenacity, he’s helped Central Bucks East compete against some of the toughest teams in the region.
Behm’s dual-sport excellence requires balancing a demanding schedule, but he takes it all in stride. His days are packed with practices, games, and schoolwork, yet he remains grounded and focused on his goals.
“It’s definitely a challenge, but I love both sports,” Behm said. “They’ve taught me so much about discipline and teamwork.”
As his high school career winds down, Behm is determined to finish strong. He hopes to lead Central Bucks East to playoff success in both sports before heading to Pittsburgh in the fall.
For Behm, the future is bright, and whether he’s making outstanding plays for Pitt or simply inspiring others with his dedication, one thing is certain: Nolan Behm is just getting started.
