The season of mini UGGs and PSL’s is officially back in full swing, if you weren’t already clued in by the orange and gold-hued leaves that bed the sidewalks and the crisp morning air and the fact that we’ve already been in school for a month. This all means that when I get into my Crosstrek at the end of the day and out of the IRL Crossy Road that is the senior parking lot, I’m going to need some fall tunes to spice up my playlists (see what I did there?).
For me, autumn sounds like Stevie Wonder and Etta James, the Smiths and Laufey. It’s the melting pot of soul, folk, funk, classic rock, and jazz, and trust me, there’s plenty of orange album covers to make your playlist look like it’s following the seasonal warm-toned dress code.
So, here are some quintessential tracks and artists that will allow you to ascend into a pumpkin-spiced and crunchy-leaved state of bliss this harvest season…
All you need now is a fun autumnal title and an aesthetic Pinterest cover pic and you’re ready to live out your Rory Gilmore dreams.
Thanks for fall-owing along!
