The Central Bucks East cheerleading team has had an incredible start to their 25-26 season. After coming off a 4th place finish at Nationals last season and making school history by going straight through to finals out of the preliminary round, they are hungrier than ever to show off their hard work at Nationals this year. The Small Varsity NT Game Day team has gone undefeated so far this season.
On January 9-10 the Varsity Traditional team is competing at the PIAA Competitive Spirit State Championship in Johnstown, PA. Following States, both Varsity Traditional and Varsity Game Day teams will compete at the Suburban One League Competition at CB South. The team will be attending as back-to-back champions in the Small Varsity Game Day division and going for their 12th Traditional championship title to make it their fourth consecutive win, specifically in the Small Varsity Traditional division.
After their busy month in January, they will be heading down to Orlando, Florida to compete in the D1 Small Varsity NT Gameday division at the National High School Cheerleading Championship. At NHSCC, the Varsity Game Day team has brought home a top 10 finish consistently over the last four seasons, with 8th place in 2022, 4th place in 2023, 3rd place in 2024, and last year’s 4th place finish.
This season has truly shown the athletes’ perseverance, resilience, and love for the sport. Pushing through tough times and coming back even stronger is what the CB East Cheer program is all about. The season is not over yet, and the team has a promising future ahead of them this competition season. After wrapping up their competitive season at Nationals in February, the team will continue to support other East sports teams including boys’ and girls’ basketball.
